Juvenile Criminal Charges

Juvenile crimes are crimes committed by individuals under the age of 18 years. The accused will be tried in the juvenile court system, as long as the crime is not of an extreme nature (such as murder). Older teens may be charged and tried as an adult. During juvenile court hearings only the judge, defendant, defense counsel, guardians, and prosecutors are present.

Common juvenile cases include shoplifting, vandalism, trespassing, disorderly conduct, assault and battery, and alcohol or drug possession. We will be proactive and work intimately with your family to secure a reasonable outcome for your child. We understand that children make mistakes, and we will fight to defend your child’s rights.

We’ve seen many children, often wrongly accused by their peers, recover from juvenile charges to become productive adults. It is important to us to help our juvenile clients reestablish a positive life and lead them to a successful future.
